Plant growth is limited by the least available nutrient, so by providing these in excess, plant growth is maximised. The unused nutrients are then removed from the system during a water change. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe macro and micronutrients are balanced in a way to prevent algae growth in an aquarium of healthy plants when supported with sufficient lighting and CO2  where required. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSigns of improved growth and new leaves can take up to 4 weeks to show, existing leaves may not rejuvenate and may be shed by the plant during this period. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf algae starts to develop, cut dosing by 50% and increase frequency of water changes until the algae clears.
